Pedestal Cold Weather Kit

Easat's EA7401M, EA6501 Linear Array and EA3462 Reflector antennas entered service with an ability to operate in temperatures as low as -30°C (-22°F) without modification. It was soon determined however that certain areas of the world demanded the ability to operate in still lower temperatures, namely down to -50°C (-58°F).

To meet this requirement a simple yet effective modification kit was developed to enable start up and continued operation of the EP0711 pedestal down to -50°C (-58°F).
