EP1020 Pedestal

The Easat EP1020 Pedestal Drive Unit is based on a high performance, lightweight turntable bearing and ring gear; driven by either one, or two, underslung motors with epicyclic reduction gearboxes.

The EP1020 is available in two versions, namely a Fixed Station variant with standard high quality turntable bearing with oil bath lubrication. The second variant is a grease filled, tiltable variant with a wire race bearing ideal for transportable pedestal requirements.

Both pedestals are designed to rotate PSR, SSR, MSSR, flat plate and reflector antennas without the need for radomes, operating in severe environmental conditions with minimal maintenance requirements.

The Antenna interface to the Turning Gear is purpose designed to meet the needs of the specific antenna.
