The PAR is a Radar intended for Directing the Approach and Landing of all types of Aircraft. The PAR provides
Automatic Target Tracking from the entering Descent Trajectory until the Touchdown Point on the Runway. The PAR measures Elevation Angle and Azimuth Position of Targets and provides Output Radar Data to the ATM System by means of ASTERIX Cat 34/48 Data Format.

The System consists of a High Power, Solid-State, Dual-Redundant X-Band Transceiver coupled with PAR Antenna System.
